Young Singers Concert

The Lyric Children’s Chorus, Melodious Accord and the Berkshire Lyric Choral Scholars. This annual concert will include a selection of music composed by contemporary Estonian composer Arvo Pärt, whose music will also be performed weeks later as part of Berkshire Lyric’s Masterworks Concert at Seiji Ozawa Hall Tanglewood.

2024 Masterworks Concert

Bruckner Mass no. 3 in f minor, Brahms’ Nänie and Arvo Pärt’s Da Pacem Dominum. 100 voice Berkshire Lyric Chorus with soloists and full orchestra. This is the Berkshire’s biggest locally produced musical event of the year and attracts a crowd. Recent concerts in the series include large works by Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Schubert and Brahms and were broadcast of WMHT-FM.

Ubi Caritas

Lyric’s outstanding young a cappella chamber chorus presents three identical concerts. Admission is no charge but a free will offering taken for local food pantries. Over $14,000 has been raised over 10 years.
